MEMBERSHIP
Become a member of OIDFA!
Being a member of OIDFA gives several advantages:
- OIDFA members receive our beautiful Magazine four times a year;OIDFA membership is open to anyone who has an interest in hand-made bobbin or needle lace, whether it is working, studying or collecting. There are two categories of membership - individual membership and group membership.
An individual
member:
- can become a Council member
- can attend and vote at the General Assembly
- will receive a copy of the Bulletin each
quarter
- will receive the benefit of membership fees
at Congresses.
Group membership of OIDFA gives one
representative from the group:
- one vote at the General Assembly
- one copy of the Bulletin each quarter that is
sent to a named person in the group.
It is OIDFA's aim to expand individual membership as much as possible. However, the organisation places a high value on group membership and recognises that there are many reasons why some people are not able to take out individual membership. We regret that we are not able to give the benefits of personal membership to those who are members as part of a group.
The membership fee for 2008 is:
| For members in Europe | € 29,- |
| For members outside Europe | € 32,- |
National Treasurers
Some countries have a national treasurer. She may keep the equivalent of two
euros per member from the annual subscriptions. She may use this for
photocopying, postage and administration costs in her own country. If your
country doesn't have a national treasurer, your subscription should be paid to
the general treasurer,
Kerstin
Eriksson
