Welcome to the OIDFA web site.
OIDFA comes from the French name, "l’Organisation Internationale de la Dentelle au Fuseau et à l’Aiguille", in English "The International Bobbin and Needle Lace Organisation". This is a world-wide lace organisation that is legally registered in France. It was established in 1982.
There are over 2100 male and female members. Some of them make LACE, some collect it, some study it. They all love and respect it.
They live in 30 different countries around the world: Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA.
