Making Slovene Bobbin Lace – An Overlooked and Revived Element of the Intangible Cultural Heritage

First, we will look at some recently discovered facts about the history of bobbin lace in Slovenia. Then we will focus on Slovene bobbin lace and how this element was entered into the Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovenia and finally on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The lecture will take place at Telovadnica, address: Rejčeva ulica 1b, Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The multipurpose centre is in the very centre of the city. The lecture will last 30 minutes followed by a 10 minute question and answer period.
